Assateague Island National Seashore has long been a favorite destination for nude vacationers. There has been a section of the shoreline considered the 'unofficial nude beach' for many years. Recently, administrators of the park disallowed nude sunbathing and the American Association of Nude Recreation (AANR) is endeavoring to have the beach opened again for nude sunbathers. This blog is dedicated to those interested in supporting AANR's position of allowing nude sunbathing at Assateague.
